During his travels Cyrus acquires knowledge and companionship while strengthening his position in relation to his singular goal. Will Cyrus achieve his aim? Or will his cunning nemesis triumph over him? <em>Mages and Kings</em> is an epic fantasy novel with themes of power friendship and alienation that are relevant in the real world today despite the book's medieval setting. This is Andrew Charles Fischer's third novel and his longest and most ambitious work to date.   </p>
