Maggie the Angel Pup.

<p>This story is a true story about our dog Maggie. It was written to help heal the pain we endure due to the loss of a pet. </p><p><br></p><p>Maggie came into our lives when our family was going through a rough period. Maggie came out of nowhere. We already had three dogs and busy lives but when a friend posted a photo of Maggie at the dog warden and said she would be put down if she wasn't claimed that day. We called and then drove two hours with our Border Collie our alpha dog to meet this pup. If they got along we would bring her home. Our border collie didn't like any dogs but she was part of our family. </p><p> </p><p>They sniffed and got along so she came home with us. Maggie lived with us for four wonderful years until she passed. It was so painful when she passed. We didn't understand why we felt so much pain; it seemed harder than the passing of our other pups. We realized that her time with us was the work that demanded the most difficult and deepest healing we had to endure. Maggie was a true angel.</p>
