Unearth the mysteries of the past... Brazil native Kasandra Cortez couldn't be happier with the group of friends she has made at MaryEllen Bay Middle School since her family moved to America. Not only are they fun to hang around with everyday they also happen to be pretty great at saving animals all over the planet. Yep that's right the friends are agents of a secret organization called the Animal Guard. They each wear a ring made of magic charms which allows them to teleport around the world to save animals from dangerous situations. When Kasandra's Aunt Lory comes to town for a business meeting the agents begin to make some interesting discoveries about the organization's past. Will the secrets they unveil hold the key to the future of the Animal Guard?
