Magic Mama

<p>Clare Willoughby is a far cry from SuperMum.</p><p>Her kids’ lunchboxes contain convenience food her bills almost never get paid on time and the concept of regular housework is one from times BC (Before Children).</p><p>Clare’s efforts to do the best by her family while keeping her job and some vague semblance of a social life have conspired to bring her down. Add a self-imposed magic ban since having children and she has become an anxious mess mum.</p><p>The only real surprise is that it took over seven years to get there.</p><p>‘Magic Mama – Headaches and Heartburn’ is a modern fairytale with a mother instead of a princess needing to be saved from a black dog rather than a fire-breathing dragon. In a way she thinks she’d prefer the dragon.</p>
