The image of a woman in a vibrant saree wrapped in youth and mystery has long enchanted literature. Introduced through Kadamba this love story blends the spirit of Treta and Dwapa with a contemporary sensibility. Just as Lord Ram redeemed Ahalya poets breathe new life into literature by reimagining timeless tales of love. Rooted in Odisha’s rich history and the Odia language the narrative flows with devotion to land mother and emotion offering the sweetness of hope. Along gentle paths where creativity blooms the poet guided by love crafts verses of beauty. Like a compassionate mother or divine force literature embraces the lonely offering comfort connection and joy through its ever-renewing waves. As an inexperienced and hesitant writer I often avoided introducing myself. While many today study in English-medium schools growing distant from Odia language and culture my love for Odia felt deeply rooted in identity rather than habit. On Nanadi Day at college I spoke passionately about the glory of the Odia language earning loud applause. Yet within me grew a quiet regret—I had spoken without truly embracing Odia asmita. Though I scored well in Odia literature I realized my understanding was still incomplete. That moment stirred self-reflection and responsibility. I resolved to strengthen my bond with my mother tongue. Since then I write continuously believing judgment lies with readers while my role is to reveal the hidden messages of society through words.
