Magnetics in Orthodontics

Magnets have generated great interest within dentistry. Various applications of magnetism in orthodontics. Earlier use of magnets was limited but their use has increased manifold considerably. The force they deliver can bedirected through mucosa and bone intraorally. Their use in Orthodontics can be explained as used for intrusion of teeth tooth movement along archwires expansion retention in functional appliances and in the treatment of impacted teeth and so on.
