Mail Ordered

<p>Although two of the women characters depicted in this story were based loosely on real women this is a work of fiction and not to be regarded as a history book nor a journal of their lives. It is hoped that readers can get a feeling for some of the struggles and dangers those Mail Ordered Brides as well as all the early women pioneers were up against. <br>Mail Ordered Brides were a necessary commodity in a land where women were few and far between. Especially since making a living was hard and time consuming. Enough so a lot of men just didn't have time to go 'courting'. <br>Thus the Mail Ordered Bride filled a niche in the 'Wild West'.</p>
