The increase in drug abuse is a matter of serious concern for the entire country.The Ministry of Home Affairs formulated a “Three-Point Strategy” adopting a “zero-tolerance” policy against drugs.Dedicated Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) units have been formed in all states and Union Territories.The Ministry of Home Affairs has constituted a study group to analyse the use of drones in mapping and destruction of illicit crops under cultivation in remote areas.Substance abuse has become a world-wide menace. No part of the world is free from the curse of drug addiction.All these issues have been covered under four chapters of the book.
