Malnutrition in Indian Tribal Children

Malnutrition is well known problem of Indian Tribal children. The study area -''Melghat'' is located in central India repeatedly flashes in local media for high mortality due to malnutrition among tribal children. So this area synonymously used for malnutrition death in media since two decades. This research work was designed to know the magnitude of problem of malnutrition and to know probable causes of malnutrition among these tribal children. This work will be useful for policy makers donor agencies researchers and students of public health.
