Management Information System for Effective Management

The present text refers to the design of an Information System for an Effective Management directed to the High Performance Direction (DAR) in the Sports Institutes in Venezuela which intends to optimize and systematize the processes carried out in the dependencies responsible for the high competition processes in the athletes. This study is based on the general theory of systems and the theory of cybernetics complemented by the theory of information; framed in the feasible project modality. Likewise data collection techniques and instruments were used such as: observation document review survey and questionnaire respectively; and the latter were validated through expert judgment; with the implementation of the information system the detected problems were solved and the processes were effectively optimized; in addition material and human resources were optimized minimizing the amount of man-hours in the vital processes of the DAR and providing an optimal cost/benefit ratio for this sports organization.
