Malocclusion is not a disease but a morphological variation which my or may not be associated with pathological condition. Class II malocclusion is one of the most common problems presented to orthodontists. Skeletally a prognathic maxilla a retrognathic mandible or a combination of the two is a possible aetiology for this malocclusion.
