About the author- Dr. Suresh Sharma is a professional in the field of Total Quality Management and Operations Management. During his long service tenure for more than 50 years he contributed in these specific fields as vice president general manager (Operations) Management representative (Quality Management System) consultant etc. Industries in India where he served in above positions include; Tata Moors (formerly known as Tata Engineering & Locomotive Co.) Hindustan Aeronautics Limited Hero Honda-group company. He has widely travelled to countries like; Spain Italy France Romania China and many other Asian countries. His areas of specialization are; Lean Manufacturing TQM TPM 5’S’ Six Sigma S.P.C VSM KAIZEN and general management which were structured institutionalized and implemented effectively in several industries by him.
