Social dynamics and the world of work have become increasingly complex in the 21st century. Strikes demonstrations mobilizations and countless actions challenging the status quo have become commonplace around the world in the streets in schools and in factories. Management theories and the practice of worker control at Flasko: the case of Flaskô is the case of a factory occupied in the interior of the state of São Paulo in the city of Sumaré which faces dynamics in a unique way as it is the only occupied factory in the country that has no boss and has been resisting for more than 10 years facing problems of various kinds from market-related issues to those concerning politics.
