About The Book

Some leaders think teams can perform out of nothing. This is perhaps not true. Action-centered leadership Model is a leadership style in which the leader satisfies the three sets of needs namely task team and individual in the total perspective of team performance. For a team to perform its task resources (material and/or financial) must be available and team leader is required to provide team direction and help when need arises. Individual team members before they join an organization they have needs they want them satisfied by the organization. So Action-centered leadership is relevant because it helps those who lead others to address such needs in a harmonized and synchronized manner. Action-centered leadership bridges the gap between Transactional and Transformational leadership styles. It is an effective leadership style where team performance matters.
