Managerial Ethics and Turnover: Is there a Correlation?

About The Book

This book is an examination of the ideal and relative ethical conceptions of employees in the quick-serve restaurant industry in Southwest Ohio. These ethical conceptions are analyzed against two other variables - job satisfaction and turnover intent - to determine if there is a correlation. This quantitative inquiry reveals surprising results about how employees in the fast food industry perceive the ethical performance of their managers and how that performance factors into their levels of job satisfaction. Finally correlation of the ethics variables with the employees'' intent to leave is analyzed. The results are astounding and paint a picture that all managers and supervisors should see.
