Integrated Weed Management is an important topic when managing weeds. The book touches on Integrated Weed Management and shows how it is beneficial when dealing with weeds. The most common weed management method is the use of chemicals. The mode of action of herbicides is important. The mode of action is the method with which herbicides control different weeds. Under the chapter on mode of action several examples of herbicides are given. This makes it easy for the reader to choose herbicides to use when needed. The book also aims to help the reader identify common weeds found in agriculture. The names of weeds are listed under their families and the book has two appendices that contain pictures of weeds with their common and scientific names. The book aims to bring knowledge of weeds without bombarding the reader with too much information. The book is not exhaustive in identifying weeds and their control methods. There is a need to read further and continuously learn weed management.
