<p>It's 1984 and Mandy Wilt's life has never been better. She's finally managed to give up the ciggies and leave the biscuits alone her kids are thriving at school and Luxor the Egypt-themed salon she brought with her divorce settlement is the haunt of all the bright young things near the King's Road. </p><p></p><p>Still Mandy can't complain when an article in the <em>Evening Standard</em> brings in a few more punters including a handsome older man named Jack. A self-made property developer Jack admires Mandy's keen business sense as much as he does her curves. In him Mandy believes she may have found a man who can offer her security and respect the independent woman she has become. </p><p></p><p>But Jack isn't Mandy's only male customer. Her ex Dave a once successful drummer seems to be trying to make amends. As it stands he can still make her laugh-and drive her to tears. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>Wooed by two very different men Mandy must decide whether she can forgive past hurts-and choose the sort of life that will make her happiest now. </p>
