Mangroves and Sediment Dynamics Along the Coasts of Southern Thailand

<p>This book presents the quantification of mangrove responses to sedimentation and hydrodynamics the assessment of coastal dynamics of Southern Thailand and the development of predictive mangrove colonization models. The assessment of coastal changes revealed substantial on-going coastal erosion along the coasts of Southern Thailand. The predictive models showed that water turbulence and seedling herbivory had the most important impacts on mangrove colonization success. </p>
