Manual for Preparing Teaching Materials for Histology Teaching

About The Book

Given the difficulties in observing microscopic images and reading texts caused by some people's different vision impairments they end up having difficulty accessing the various contents covered in science. The abstraction involved in understanding studies related to microscopic structures becomes even greater when it comes to teaching about organic tissues even for students who do not have disabilities. It is therefore necessary to adapt specific teaching materials that make it possible for these students to understand how the different types of tissue in the human body are formed and how they work. In the work presented here materials were developed in high relief made from simple everyday materials with the aim of revealing the structures and compositions of the cells of the tissues: Epithelial Connective Adipose Muscular Nervous Blood Cartilaginous and Bone. Even the materials mentioned here that use electronic components can be easily constructed. The importance of having inclusive material on hand for study is not restricted to the visually impaired.
