Experience shows that if two antidotes are indicated in a case they produce striking effects zf given in combination. The explanation of this phenomenon is not difficult. I suppose that the pro cess of mixing does not apply to higher potencies but that the two may assist each other in their mutual effects; but even this fact does not extend to antidotes which repel each other and each of which pursues its own action to the end of the cure.

This important discovery of the combination of drugs was first announced twenty-four years ago by Doctor Julius Aegidi at that time physician to the Princess Frederica of Prussia and now medical counsellor.
