In this book the authors reveal the theoretical mechanism of the formation of electrolytic oxygen bubbles during water electrolysis for the intensive formation of microdispersed oxygen bubbles on a silver or gold jewelry anode (oxidation) which allowed them to develop a new electrochemical method for blackening silver or gold. Based on this mechanism the authors developed an electrolyzer that allowed them to practically implement the new electrochemical method for blackening silver or gold. It will be shown that the developed electrolyzer made it possible to blacken silver or gold jewelry with a thin durable and indelible black film that does not require meticulous care unlike ordinary silver or gold retains its magnificent appearance longer and is distinguished by high strength and the bactericidal properties of silver which contribute to the destruction of pathogenic bacteria and microbes on the skin surface. Jewelry made of black gold obtained by the developed method is evenly coated with a thin black film stylish and wear-resistant and also inexpensive. The resulting black gold has a universal fashionable color and combines well with white gold in classic jewelry.
