Maolcolm Bequest of the Brotherhood

Following the pilgrim paths of 16th century Scotland a young man innocent of the turmoil overwhelming the country discovers that most folks he meets strenuously cling to the old ways and superstitions. A teller of tales Maolcolm influences all of their lives in extraordinary events that he regards as merely accidental. His legacy is swept out to sea however. Or on the other hand is it really lost? That would be admitting that all the old traditions and folk beliefs including a belief in the invisible kingdom are lost.
