Mapping of Existing Solid Waste Dump Site Using GIS in Kaduna South

The prompting of the book Mapping of Existing Solid Waste Dump Site Using GIS in Kaduna South came as a result of so many environmental related problems associated with indiscriminate dumping of refuse in the city of Kaduna with resultant effect like diseases and environmental pollution. With the aid of GIS we were able to locate existing dump sites in the Kaduna metropolis which aided equal distribution to the various streets in the metropolis. In order to achieve this mapping of the various streets in contention were given priorities thereby reducing the adverse effect to the environment.
