<p>Advent is an invitation to imagine yourself as one of God's people before the birth of Christ. This experience deepens your appreciation for Christmas and draws your heart into a greater longing for His return. </p><p><br></p><p>Each devotional has a short Scripture followed by a short meditation on the passage and an invitation to Lectio Divina.</p><p><br></p><p>Observing Advent taught me to slow down during the holidays to intentionally make space to meet God so that He may quicken</p><p>in me a desire for Christ's return.</p><p><br></p><p>I hope the devotionals in this book help you do the same.</p>
