MARATHI GAULAN

Dr. Vasant S. Joshi is one of the most eminent scholars and writers in the field of ancient Marathi literature. A few areas of his interest are Mahanubhav Saints and their literature great poets and personalities like Dnyaneshwar and Eknath who mastered the Bhagwat Mukteshwara who mastered in poetry related to arts etc. Dr. Joshi has a keen interest in Marathi culture and Marathi as a language. ‘Gaulan’ has been popularized by former Marathi poets.
