Maria's Wonderland

<p>This story features a kindergartner who has been diagnosed as a nonverbal communicator. She is featured in a kindergarten classroom with other students of varying abilities. She is a bright and witty child who is interested in her environment. She enjoys coming to school and she's eager to learn yet she hasn't quite found her voice. One of the interventions provided for her is an augmentative speaking device. It allows her to participate and interact with her peers and teachers.</p><p><br></p><p>This book is part of the <em>Exceptional Courage </em>series which showcases children of different abilities and unique interests.
