Marley & Sky's Big Hill Race

<p>The characters in the story are based on my own family pets; 2 x Jack Russel dogs each with very different individual characteristics and personalities but who are absolutely inseparable regardless.</p><p></p><p><strong>Marley</strong>: Is a young energetic boy dog that loves adventure. He tends to race around and get excited very quickly. Full of mischief and playfulness he will never turn down an adventure.</p><p></p><p><strong>Sky</strong>: Is an older more conservative girl dog that prefers to take life a little slower enjoying the journey more than the destination. A lot more thoughtful considered and wise dog that just wants to make the most of every situation. Whilst not adverse to adventure or excitement does it at her own pace and wants to explore everything life has to offer along the way.</p><p></p><p>This story is about both dogs going on an adventure. This adventure starts as a race to the top of the big hill with Marley rushing off on his own intent on getting there first. Sky on the other hand takes it slowly enjoying the flowers and the wildlife she finds along the way. Marley soon realises that going too quickly makes him tired and that he misses out on spending the journey with his friend as a result he decides to complete the journey together. He learns that sometimes it is better to slow down and enjoy things together rather than rushing off on his own.</p><p></p><p>The intention of the story is to give a fun story about adventure and friendship but with a hidden message to explain that sometimes going too fast means you miss out on some wonderful experiences and that perhaps going slow in life is better.</p>
