Marriages of Campbell County Virginia 1782-1810

This is one of the finest collections of Virginia county marriage records in print for not only does it furnish a list of some 3000 men and women married in Campbell County between 1782 and 1810 but in naming parents bondsmen and witnesses it provides a list of an additional 4000 persons many of them related to the newlyweds. The marriage records derive from the original marriage bonds consents and ministers' returns on file at the Campbell County Courthouse and commence in 1782 the year Campbell was split off from Bedford County.
