They were only several meters away and fast-approaching. </em></p><p class=ql-align-justify><br></p><p class=ql-align-justify><em>Guys we've got company.</em></p><p class=ql-align-justify> </p><p>Born to convict parents on Mars Megan and her friends-known as the Wonder Kids-were evacuated to Earth during a prisoner rebellion ten years ago. Now fourteen she is sent back as a pawn in a deadly mission to save the colony from an attack by killer robotic spiders and lure out the mysterious scientist who raised her. Meanwhile on Earth the rest of the Wonder Kids come up against corrupt government officials and trained assassins and can't be sure who to trust-not even each other. </p><p><br></p><p>Faced with cryptic dreams a secret prophecy and enemies on both sides Megan must battle to discover the truth about her parents and save the beleaguered colonists on Mars while her friends fight just to stay alive. </p>
