Inspired by her own young children the author hopes that this lighthearted story helps take some of your childs stress out of needing to wear masks during the COVID-19 pandemic. Lets make masks less scary and more relatable for young children!Special note from the author: I came up with the idea of Marvelous Masks as I struggled to find a way to explain to my toddler what was going on in the world and why we needed to wear masks without terrifying him. Thus the book does not mention germs or the coronavirus specifically but can easily be incorporated into the conversation and scenes in the book by the reader as desired.
