<p>Seven Deadly Sins. Seven Crosswords. Seven Intended Victims. It soon becomes apparent that a serial killer is at large mutilating his victims as a religious offering in penance for their sins. The crossword is published in a local newspaper each day a victim is found. A game played by the killer. Not only that but it is discovered that each victim has been sedated using a drug not widely available. Lavinia Newbourne a Forensic Investigation student and aspiring Detective on work experience with the Lincolnshire Major Crime Unit gets more involved than she expected.
