Each day Mastering the Moment brings an exploration thought or practice to gain control over our unwanted habits. The 8 incremental steps in this 60-day mindfulness process have proven effective in helping us to finally act more aligned with our ultimate goals. Mastering the Moment teaches us how to consciously expand the moment between the urge to act and our habitual behavior. Here we can directly address the underlying needs that are not being met by our unwanted habits. Rather than fighting with ourselves we'll use the misdirected energy within our urges to heal the neglected parts of ourselves that drive our contradictions. Whether it's emotional eating substance or digital usage over-spending or over-reacting learning how to master the moment before we act allows us to become engaged participants in creating profound and lasting change within our lives.
