Matrimony

As the title would imply Matrimony is the story of a long marriage a family and the inevitable changes that occur over time. Through her poetry Laurel Feigenbaum depicts her husbands last years of life along with her thoughts feelings and events they coped with including his six-week stay in a near-by skilled nursing facility. Married for 66 years when he passed away the poet shares her journey of learning to live alone for the first time her grief and recognition of the natural aging process as it affects us all.
