When Damon Roberts Sr. returned to Camp Atterbury Indiana from Iraq in August 2006 he felt disheartened that his service as an Army Reserve soldier during Operation Iraqi Freedom was not appreciated. Before long his heart began to harden with each sunrise causing him to turn away from God and ultimately lose his focus as a father warrior citizen social worker coach and mentor.
