This book is written purely with an aim to make 1st year BAMS students score 20/20 in Itihasa paper which comes in Sanskrit paper 2-part B. According to Mahatma Gandhi (father of our nation) it is wise to recognise the past to safeguard the future. People often say that “history repeats itself” but if we study the successes and failures of the past we may ideally be able to learn from our mistakes and avoid repeating them in future. Studying history of Ayurveda also helps in inspiring and developing like a good citizen by study of autobiography of stalwarts of Ayurveda “The farther backward you can look the farther forward you are likely to see” There is a famous saying that a generation which ignores history has no past and no future. So study history for a bright future and to score marks
