The stories themselves will keep you reading to find out more about the people who despite their shortcomings raised a daughter who went against the family traditions of becoming a housewife and mother to pursue an education with a BA/English degree which put her on the path to becoming a writer and an author. Her memories growing up in the 1950s and 60s are sure to bring a hint of recognition for those who grew up in those times.</span></p><p></p>
