Mechanization of Agricultural Situation in Assam:

Agricultural mechanization has a long history and the introduction of mechanization shrinking the requirement of farm labor as well as quickening the agricultural activities in the areas where extensive farming is regularly practiced. Mechanization contributes towards the revolution of farm machinery use due to its ability to operate different types of machinery used for different tillage operations viz. plowing leveling planting cultivation chemical application harvesting threshing and transportation. The result and data obtained from the investigation pertinent to the above-mentioned issues have been addressed in this book.
