Medication use by patients with rheumatoid arthritis

The aim of this study was to verify the profile of patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis RA in relation to the use of medications potential drug interactions and the use of alternative therapies. This is a cross-sectional study in which 31 patients with RA aged over 18 years of both sexes at any stage of treatment were interviewed. To identify the individuals the medical records of the Basic Health Unit of the municipality of Jóia/RS were accessed while the collection was carried out in January 2015. This study was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of Unijuí under Opinion No. 898.482 as recommended by Resolution No. 466/2012.
