While their teacher unknowingly received the aid of a man from the future and his time traveling phone booth we only have much more modest pedagogical approaches at our disposal. However as our society becomes increasingly more techno-literate each day the realm of possibilities opens up. This book examines what this shift towards techno-literacy means in regards to reified objects the difference between high and low culture and pedagogy. By using an ideological social constructionist lens we can understand our participation in the creation of reified objects and how the acknowledgment of that process and its objects within the classroom can motivate and engage students in unique and positive ways.
