About The Author: After 35 years of working in Human Services Jack Zaffos has decided to fulfill a life long dream of compiling a book of poems. These poems are a reflection of life experiences. Jack has devoted his life to serving and empowering others spiritual growth and communicating with integrity. Jack over the years has worked hard on the craft of poetry and through encouragement from teachers has developed his own unique engaging style of writing.Jack over the years has been influenced by writer and psychiatrist the late M. Scott Peck author of The Road Less Traveled. He has been a supporter of the Foundation Of Community Encouragement an organization founded by Dr. Peck He has been increasingly invoved in the Jewish Spiritual Tradition has studied texts in Hebrew and in English and has organized an on going Jewish Meditation Group. Poets who have influenced Jack have been Rumi Tagore Mary Oliver Marge Piercey Leonard Cohen as well as Biblical Poetry and modern Jewish Liturgical poetry.
