I have always wanted to write a book of my own—whether it be fiction an autobiography or a collection of my poems. That dream stayed with me and in the hopes of publishing my book one day I never stopped writing—especially poems. Poetry has always been a way for me to pour everything I’m feeling onto paper. It’s how I make sense of the world and sometimes how I escape it for a little while. If you’ve picked up this book hoping to find a poem you can relate to I hope you don’t put it down disappointed.
