It is a well written fast paced crime novel set in Nova Scotia Canada. Detectives judges billionaires crime bosses and local business owners get tangled up in a young man's unfortunate run in with the law. </p><p></p><p>People and situations aren't always what they seem on the surface so the author spends a good deal of time letting the reader see inside the minds of the characters - most amusingly Madoff the dog. In the end all mysteries are solved and we are left with an intriguing teaser that foreshadows a future novel in this delightful series.</p>
