MeMa Can I Hug a Turtle?

If you have ever been around a small child you know how hard it is to captivate their attention for more than a few minutes. However at the age of three while swinging in the back yard Shelby asked MeMa can I hug a turtle? MeMa explained the answer but Shelby wanted to know more. She asked about every animal that she could think of and this very delightful conversation went on for over an hour. Shelby and her MeMa think that these are important questions that many small children would like to have answered. They hope you enjoy this chance to learn some things about animals through poetry.
