About The Book

<span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>My earliest memories are climbing through the back doors of a dark green Commer Cob van with my siblings along with other children from our street. This was my dad's work van and it was the weekend. He had carefully removed the company's water softener logos from the side of the vehicle to avoid being seen driving it privately as he often took us kids plus any other hangers-on from the road and whisked us all off to the beach for the day. How do I know I was only three years old? Because on 27th September 1962 a devastating event happened which would change our family perspective for ever. Aged just 35 years old my dad died. From a family tragedy to being a sick child through my school years and witnessing the death of a friend my teenage years and first love the escapades from my travels around Europe in my camper van to my two marriages my employment journey and the reason for living my two beautiful daughters. Herein you can read the funny shocking happy and sad events that have shaped me into who I am today.
