<p>This book gives a brief history of the author in an attempt to highlight the trigger points that lead to a career as a detective in the London Metropolitan Police. There follows descriptions of the issues that this somewhat opinionated man had to negotiate. The investigation of rape and all the issues that are experienced by all parties involved is then described in full.</p><p>The last chapter is an indulgence.</p>
