Many Of The Collective Experiences Of The Threebrothers Are Reflected In The Poems And Short Stories Presented Inthis Book.Mac Was Educated In The Public Schools Of Nelson CountyReceiving His High School Diploma From Nelson County Highschool In 1958. He Is Also A Graduate Of Ferrum Junior College Andlynchburg Collage And Earned His Master'S Degree At The University Of Virginia.His Life Experiences Have Included Farm Work Laborer At The Soapstone Plant Atschuyler Cameraman At A Tv Station A Retail Sales Clerk And An Educator For Forty One Years Inthe Nelson County Public School System. These Collective Experiences And Fond MemoriesParticularly Those As An Elementary School Principal Were Invaluable To His Developing Anappreciation For And Understanding Of Children And For People In General.Mac And His Childhood Sweetheart Phyllis Have Been Happily Married For Almost Ahalf Century. This Union Has Produced Three Great Children And Five Wonderful Grandchildren.The Drumhellers Live In Rural Central Virginia Where They Have Spent Many Hours Roaming Andenjoying The Countryside And Walking Plowed Fields In Search Of Indian Artifacts To Add Totheir Extensive Collection.
