Memory as Transcendence in T.S Eliot's Poetry

We shall see in this book studying T.S.Eliot’s major poems the task of overcoming the contingencies of time in order to install a symbolic order in which the subject can assume his or her true existence. The power of memory and the experience here comes into play to evoke a kind of transcendence. The research project aims at exploring how we come to grips with T. S.Eliot’s new style and experimentation to seize on the intuitions that will cultivate an angle of vision whereby diverse objects are penetrated and illumined as part of one design. The book is designed with five divisions to drive home the purpose – Introduction Malady of the Modern Mind Reflections on the Existential Philosophers Metaphors of Memory and Conclusion.
