<p>Under the authority of the brimhats an elite group of government officers specialized in dispatching supernatural creatures: A dwarven investigator Markus of Brittletack and his commanding officer Douglas are sent to a castle deep within the forest to investigate a series of mysterious disappearances. Their target? A killer that can change his appearance at will. It all looks a little too familiar to Markus who knows Douglas isn't who he says he is.
