Metacognition

The teaching and learning process is the main means of guaranteeing the development of children's personalities because through the content taught they not only appropriate scientific content but also the experiences accumulated by humanity over time both in the social and cultural spheres.As part of cognitive psychology the study of metacognition also requires an approach to the psychic processes that make up the cognitive activity system of the personality which are crucial in the process of acquiring and using knowledge.
