Metal complexes of Schiff bases derived from dicarbonyl drug

Two different Schiff bases were prepared by condensation between isatin drug and diaminopyridine or isoleucine amino acid and characterized using different physio-chemical techniques. The prepared ligands were used for synthesizing different transition metal complexes. The prepared metal complexes were identified using different tools like FT-IR Mass SEM XRD elemental analysis 1HNMR etc. Also screening its aantimicrobial activity and anticancer activity were done. The data confirmed the high activity of the ligands and their chelates.
